Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born August 25, 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She also was an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and her pumped-up appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of restaurant dishes and reveals straightforward, simple techniques to master for home cooks on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell studied and worked at the top New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, discovered a love of cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied after earning an English degree and a Communications certificate from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an amazing experience for me. It was impossible to learn, do or work enough. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy doing research and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. When she was in Italy the chef developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian food. It had a significant influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists kids who have challenges. In her capacity as a speaker, she makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels very fortunate to share what I love most to others.
